Andrés Mora is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Washington. He is a medical epidemiologist and researcher interested in infectious disease epidemiology, including tropical medicine, COVID-19, and HIV in migrant communities. He received his medical degree from Universidad de los Andes, an MS in Infections and Health in the Tropics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and an MSc with distinction in Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology from University College London. He has worked as a researcher at several Colombian universities and institutions, including Fundación SaludMía EPS, the National Institute of Health, and Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá. He has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and has presented his work at national and international conferences.
