Stephanie Kovacs

Stephanie Kovacs holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington and an MPH in Epidemiology from Tulane University.  Stephanie worked for two years as a research fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Tanzania, focusing primarily on prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV and maternal and child health. Her interests include infectious disease surveillance, epidemic modeling, and health informatics.

Stephanie currently works as an Epidemiology for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on polio eradication.
