Arianna Rubin Means

After graduating with her MPH in epidemiology and upon completing her time with START, Arianna entered into a PhD program in implementation science and metrics at the University of Washington and worked as a research analyst for the neglected infectious diseases team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she designed a dissertation analyzing the efficiency and effectiveness of integrated healthcare delivery programs. Arianna is now an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Global Health at UW.
START was a valuable experience for me because it provided me the opportunity to apply analytical skills developed in the classroom on real-world topics and pressing global health problems.
