Cheryl Dietrich

Cheryl Dietrich holds an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Washington School of Public Health, and a BA in International Studies & Certificate in Core Public Health Concepts from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She was a Global Surveillance Fellow at ASPPH/PHI until April 2020 at the CDC South Africa, and a 2017 ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellow at the Center for Global Health, Division of Global HIV and TB in Pretoria, South Africa. Prior to her graduate studies at UW, she worked as a Program Assistant at USAID's Office of HIV and AIDS. At USAID, she provided a variety of support to both Gender and Care and Treatment/Counseling and Testing technical teams, as well as to two country health teams in sub-Saharan Africa. Her global experience also includes a Rotary Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarship in St. Louis, Senegal. Cheryl's interests include infectious disease, implementation science, and spatial modeling.

Cheryl currently works as a Research Coordinator at UW Medicine.
