Stephanie Kovacs is an Epidemiologist working on Polio irradiation at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Stephanie earned her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington. She received her MPH in epidemiology from Tulane University. Stephanie worked for two years as a research fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Tanzania focusing primarily on prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV and maternal and child health. Her interests include infectious disease surveillance, epidemic modeling, and health informatics.
