START’s Recruiting! Join our team as an RA for Fall 2016

The START Center is recruiting for highly-motivated graduate students to join our team in fall 2016, with an opportunity for Summer 2016 engagement.

START uses an innovative mentorship model to provide high-quality analysis and research support to public health organizations while simultaneously training and mentoring Research Assistants in applied global and domestic public health. Under the START model, interdisciplinary teams of graduate student research assistants and faculty mentors develop and deliver premier consultation for global and domestic health program efforts. These teams are student-led and managed, providing high-caliber, hands-on experience for future health professionals in leadership, project management, communication and analysis.

To apply for a research assistant position for The START Center Global or Domestic Programs, applicants must be graduate students currently enrolled at the University of Washington or prospective graduate students already accepted to the University. Currently, undergraduate students are not eligible to apply. Our research assistant application process is highly selective.

Please review the attached announcement here and consider applying for a position with The START Center. The application deadline is Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at 5 PM PST.
